According to The National Allergy Bureau, allergies affect nearly 30–40% of all Americans. An allergy is a heightened sensitivity to a foreign substance (also known as an allergen) that causes the body’s immune system to overreact when defending itself. For people who suffer from allergies, their immune system works too hard and reacts even when relatively harmless substances (e.g., pollen, dust, perfume, mold, animal danders) are introduced. The severity of an allergic reaction can vary from mild discomfort to life-threatening situations.
Allergens can stimulate an aggressive immune response in many ways: chiefly inhalation or physical contact with the allergen, ingestion of a specific food or beverage or from direct injection of a medication. The most common allergic reactions include eczema, hives, sneezingensing, runny nose, itchy mucous membranes, swelling of the face or throat, watery eyes, congestion and reactive asthma.
While there are many treatments for allergies, the two most useful and proven are complete avoidance or contact with specific allergens and use of an anti-histamine medication. While these two solutions are highly effective and near foolproof, unfortunately certain allergens are impossible to avoid (especially seasonal pollen, which causes hay fever) and use of anti-histamine products can cause drowsiness, increased thirst, anxiety and sleeplessness.
GreenMed is proud to present AllerRite. AllerRite is a revolutionary product with a 100% natural herbal extract formula specifically designed for treatment of allergic reaction symptoms.
